In this series we will study about Golgotha – the greatest event in human history. We specifically want to see what the Scriptures have to say concerning when, where and how Yeshua died for the sins of mankind. Let us first look at the important passage in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, concerning the Good News. "Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also... read more + |

In Part 1 in this series we looked at the question of when Yeshua died. We will now take a look at the next question: Where did Yeshua die? There are today two main opinions among Christians of where in Jerusalem (or to be exact outside of Biblical Jerusalem) Yeshua died and rose again. The first and most popular opinion is that it happened at the location of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The second more recent option is what is called today Gordon's Golgotha or the Garden Tomb. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is built on the ruins of a temple to the fertility goddess Venus. Some remains of the temple are actually still visible today. The Venus temple was built by... read more + |

The foundation of the gospel is that the Messiah died for our sins "according to the Scriptures." We will now continue to look at the question: Where did Yeshua die? In Part 2 in this series about Golgotha we mentioned that neither one of the traditional sites in Jerusalem; The Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Gordon's Golgotha, fit the description "according to the Scriptures." We gave three reasons that the place of the crucifixion instead took place on the Mount of Olives. John 1:29 Yeshua was the fulfillment of the sacrifices ordained in the Torah. Every sacrifice was always performed... read more + |

We have already stated that the foundation of the gospel is that the Messiah died for our sins "according to the Scriptures." So far we have seen that Christian tradition has left the Scriptural pattern, and confused both when and where Yeshua died for our sins. Holy Week, Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday, The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, are all human traditions and inventions, changing the Scriptures and the faith once for all delivered to the saints. As we have seen both from the Scriptures and from the early history of the believers in the Messiah, the apostles neither taught nor practiced any of these Christian traditions. They were very careful to not... read more + |

By Benny Morris, New York Sun. "The second Holocaust will not be like the first. The Nazis, of course, industrialized mass murder. But still, the perpetrators had one-on-one contact with the victims. They may have dehumanized them, over months and years of appalling debasement and in their minds, before the actual killing. But, still, they were in eye- and ear-contact, sometimes in tactile contact, with their victims. The second Holocaust will be quite different. One bright morning, in five or 10 years' time, perhaps during a regional crisis, perhaps out of the blue, a day or a year or five years... read more + |

All of you have probably heard as many suggestions as we have of who the antichrist might be. The speculations are almost endless. Here are just a few possible candidates that have been suggested over the past decades: Henry Kissinger, Michail Gorbatjev, Hitler (coming back to life), Prince Charles, Tony Blair, George Bush Jr and Javier Solana. In a series of articles, we will try to see if it is possible to find out from the Scriptures who the antichrist is. What does the Bible actually say about him? We will discover that God has given us a lot of information about... read more + |

In Part 1 in this series we began to look at the subject of who the coming antichrist is. It is clear from the Scriptures that before the rapture, mentioned in the text above as "the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him" (2 Th 2:1), the antichrist must first be revealed. It is very possible that the revealing of the antichrist is not far away, and so we need to study the Scriptures in order to find out who he is, in order to not be deceived. We have already stated that the word "anti," does not just mean "against," but also "instead of." The antichrist will be a false... read more + |

When the Messiah came the first time, many seemingly contradicting prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in a very short time. It will be the same at his return concerning all the prophecies about the antichrist. Many times we only understand certain prophecies after they have been fulfilled. It is more or less impossible to figure all of them out in advance. But we can, and we should know the broad picture ahead of time. That is why the prophecies are in the Bible. In this series we want to stick as much as possible to what is clear and obvious, and do our best to avoid speculations over the details... read more + |

"Then I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws — the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left. I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell — the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully. As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them... read more + |

Chanukah, the Festival of Lights, is a wonderful holiday of renewed dedication, faith, and hope. It’s a holiday pointing to the Messiah, who is the light of the world. Chanukah commemorates the victory, through the miracles of God, of a small band of Jews over the pagan Syrian-Greek empire who ruled over Israel around two thousand years ago. Psalm119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." The evil Syrian ruler Antiouchus Epiphanes tried to wipe out faith in the Word of God. He failed and this is what we still celebrate today. Chanukah means “dedication”, because it was on Chanukah that the Temple was purified and rededicated to God, in 165 BCE, after three years of pagan defilement... read more + |

The Chanukah story is almost unknown among most Christians. And yet, Chanukah is historically the best documented of all the Biblical Feasts. It is described in the Apocryphal books of 1 and 2 Macanese, but is also referred to in a number of places in both the Tenach (OT) and the Apostolic Writings (NT). Both Daniel and Zechariah describe prophetically the Chanukah story and we also have important and clear end time, prophetic references to Chanukah in Matthew 24, Mark 13, 2 Thessalonians 2 and Revelation 13. One of the main figures in the story, Antiochus Epiphanes, is the clearest picture we have in the Bible of the coming antimessiah (antichrist)... read more + |

The ultimate spiritual battle will be the battle for the Bride to recover her true identity, in order to be united with the Messiah to rein and rule forever with him. The text above from the Book of Revelation describes the enormous praise that will break out in heaven when this battle is won and the bride finally "has made herself ready" for the wedding of the Lamb. The previous verses in the Book of Revelation deal with the judgment of the harlot. The judgment of the harlot and the revelation of the Bride go together. It is like Yeshua told in the parable about the tares and the wheat that they will grow together... read more + |

In Part 1 of this series we mentioned that the ultimate spiritual battle will be the battle for the Bride to recover her true identity in order to be united with the Messiah to rein and rule for ever with him. This battle is described in Zechariah as the battle between the sons of Zion and the sons of Greece. There must be a shift from the Greek based thinking that was introduced by the church fathers, back to the first century Hebrew mindset of the apostles found in the Scriptures. We must bear in mind that the assembly, the kahal [Gr. ekklesia], is built upon the foundation of the apostles (NT) and prophets (OT), all of which were Jews... read more + |

The final end time battle is described in Zechariah as the battle between the sons of Zion and the sons of Greece. Notice that this passage from Zechariah is talking about the appearing of the Messiah, as the Eternal himself blows the shofar, "The Sovereign LORD will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south." It is important to understand that all who are part of the Body of Messiah belong in Zion. We are sons of Zion. Paul wrote in Romans 11:24 that Gentile believers have been cut out of their wild olive tree, and contrary to nature have been grafted into the... read more + |

The Apostle Paul was by far the most learned of all the apostles. He was a Pharisee and the son of a Pharisee and had received his education from the most learned and respected rabbi in the world in his day, Rabbi Gamaliel. Paul was his top student. Peter wrote about Paul, "His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men... read more + |

There are two books in the Bible that specifically have been attacked by the enemy throughout the centuries. The first one is Genesis and the second one is the book of Revelation. These books give us the primary understanding of two very fundamental things: how everything began, and how everything will end. Without this knowledge we will be very vulnerable to Satan's deceptions, and will miss God's purpose and destiny for our lives... read more + |

Since God so strongly commands us to come out of the great harlot, in order to escape the plagues and judgments that will come upon her, it is necessary to know who she is. Our desire should be to be a part of the pure, glorious Bride of Messiah that will reign with Him forever and ever. This subject is therefore very important. We ask all of you to pray as we continue our search for the truth by looking at some more options... read more + |

We began to look at a fifth option: the Roman Catholic Church. We mentioned that since the Reformation, this has been the most common interpretation. We also mentioned that traditionally both Catholic and Protestant theologians have agreed that the harlot must have something to do with the city of Rome. Catholics have believed that John described the Roman Empire with its luxury and persecution of the church. Protestants have... read more + |

The number one adjective used about the harlot is the word great. She is both called the great harlot as well as Babylon the Great. This week we will attempt to arrive at a final conclusion of who the end time great harlot is that the Apostle John describes in the Book of Revelation. Before we do that, we briefly want to mention one more detail about the great harlot. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet... read more + |

"You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we [Jews] worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews." (Jn 4:22) In his conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well, Yeshua made it very clear that God's salvation for mankind comes from the Jewish people. Ps 147:19-20 says, "He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD." And Paul wrote in Romans 3:1-2, "What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God." It is true that everything belonging to our salvation has come to us... read more + |

It might come as a shock to some, but powerful forces working towards a new world order and a one world government are today controlling international politics in such a way that, rather than trying to prevent another Middle East conflict, they are actually actively planning and promoting one. The strategy they are following is "order out of chaos" and the plan is that only one more world war will be needed to fulfill their goal to build their tower of Babel and rule the world... read more + |

I heard a well known Bible teacher many years ago tell a story about the little boy who took apart his grandmother's alarm clock and managed put it back together again. When he proudly presented his achievement to his grandmother there was just one small problem. A few screws were still left on the table. He said that is the way it is with most Christian theology. There are usually always a few Bible verses left that do not fit into the nice theory... read more + |

Dear Brothers, We want to carefully investigate this subject from the Scriptures. There is probably no theological subject that is more controversial than this one. This has been the case for the past 1900 years in the church. This ought, however, to be a great indication of its utmost importance because the devil never wastes his time with things that does not bother him. There must be a reason for the controversy... read more +

Most scholars agree that Yeshua was born somewhere around the time of the Feasts of the Lord in the fall. One way to reach this conclusion is through the story in Luke 1 concerning the birth of John the Baptist. From 1 Chronicles 24, it is possible to know when John the Baptist's father Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah, was serving in the Temple. We also know that six months later the angel Gabriel visited Mary (her real Hebrew name is Miriam) and she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. This information brings us to the seventh month on the Jewish calendar as the time of the birth... read more + |

As Islam lies at the foundation of the present deadly conflict in the Middle East, it is very important to understand this religion in order to pray accurately. National borders are not the basic issue. When Jordan and Egypt controlled the West Bank and Gaza, nobody ever mentioned the idea of asking these countries to establish a sovereign Palestinian state there. What we are seeing is a religious and spiritual conflict between the God of the Bible and Islam. It is commonly taught that Judaism, Christianity and Islam are the three monotheistic world religions, and many times it is implied that all the adherents of these three religions pray to the same God. This is a very, very serious mistake that... read more + |

Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi is emerging as an unlikely voice of moderation in Islam A few years back, Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi, the secretary-general of the Italian Muslim Association, imam at the Shafi School of Islamic Jurisprudence, and the co-chair of Islam-Israel Fellowship at the Root and Branch Association, addressed a group of conservative-leaning Jews in Manhattan. After hearing him cite a Koranic passage endorsing Zionism (The Night Journey, 17:104), deriding terror groups for misinterpreting religious texts to advance their "pseudo-Islamic radicalist" agenda, and endorsing a "Jordan is Palestine" solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the invited guests were taken aback... read more + |

When Yeshua returns, He is going to sit down on His glorious throne in Jerusalem. The Bible says that all the nations will stream to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which "will be raised above the hills" and, "He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples."
